When we were buying our first home, we sent out a questionnaire and interviewed at least a dozen inspectors. Paul was the only one who left us feeling confident enough to schedule the appointment. Paul showed up on time and was ready to go. He encouraged us to follow him around and answered every question we asked. He showed us what we should know about the house, pointing out issues that could become potential problems, and even provided ideas on how to make improvements. Paul's experience as an engineer and a home builder definitely shined through. Paul never rushed, even at the end of the long inspection (over 3 hours). He provided the report within the expected time and it was written professionally and concisely. Paul even followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the report and that he had not omitted anything.
Don't be fooled by inspectors who print reports on-site or who spend only a couple hours or less on the actual inspection. Don't bother with checklist reports without details or photos. If you want a thorough inspection, I highly recommend Asset Home Inspection Services.
